●    Developed and implemented a comprehensive curriculum for teaching forms of nonfiction storytelling, engaging students in with global narratives and perspectives.
●    Led a team of creatives to produce a promotional video for the GMU Writing Center to be used across social media and in campus-wide information sessions, gaining over 1.5k views in 1 year. 

 

Summer 2022

Alan Cheuse Center Travel Research Fellow

●    Awarded one of three fellowships focusing on research abroad.
●    Conducted an independent study in Germany focusing on the life and writings of 12th-century abbess Hildegard of Bingen as part of a creative writing thesis and book project. 
●    Interviewed researchers from both the U.S. and Germany to create a comprehensive narrative of 12th-century female mystics.

●    Produced multiple award-winning short documentary films focusing on underrepresented communities in South Carolina, such as women escaping human trafficking.
